The Noise, directed by Eduardo Garcia, takes place in New York City and, through a musical soundscape, explores the experience of living in a place where connection is always within reach. The perspectives of four different individuals intertwine with archival footage to create a collage that captures what it’s like to live in a city full of possibilities and coincidences.

"Having lived in large cities like Mexico City and Miami, arriving in New York City, felt like experiencing a blend of the two. It’s incredibly easy to meet people from drastically different backgrounds, demographics, and cultures, yet still find a shared sense of living and familiarity. Everyone has their own dreams, passions, and aspirations—and you get to witness them firsthand as we all share the same fish tank.

My time in cities often inspires me to unplug from my headphones and simply soak in all The Noise that surrounds us—those shared sounds that shape our daily lives. They create vibrations and domino effects that can unexpectedly lead you to meet someone new, with their own thoughts, stories, and quirks. My goal with this film was to capture that experience through a fun, musical journey shaped by the found sounds in our world." — Eduardo Garcia

The film is set to complete its final sound pass by the end of 2025, after which it will be ready for festival distribution in 2026, followed by a promotional rollout featuring new trailers, stills, and announcements alongside the director’s other projects Onlooker, One Last Game, and a collaboration with The Noise cast member
